This Cookie Notice explains how Sidelines Global Co. ("Sidelines," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with the www.sidelinesglobal.com website and any other website that we own or control and which posts or links to this Cookie Notice (collectively, the "Sites").
1. What are cookies?
1.1 Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies serve different purposes, like helping us understand how a site is being used, letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improving your browsing experience.
1.2 Our Sites may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer or mobile device until you delete them).
1.3 We use two broad categories of cookies: (1) first-party cookies, served directly by us to your computer or mobile device, which we use to recognize your computer or mobile device when it revisits our Sites; and (2) third-party cookies, which are served by service providers or business partners on our Sites, and can be used by these parties to recognize your computer or mobile device when it visits other websites.
2. What cookies do we use on the Sites?
2.1 We currently use a single analytics provider, PostHog, to understand how the Sites are used. We do not currently use cookies for advertising, social media integrations, or other functionality beyond what's described below. If that changes, we'll update this table.

3. Your choices
3.1 Cookie preferences. When you first visit our Sites, a banner will ask you to accept or decline analytics cookies. Page views are captured by PostHog either way, using a temporary, in-memory identifier that is not saved to a cookie or to your browser's local storage — so unless you accept, this information isn't linked to you across pages, sessions, or visits. If you accept, PostHog will additionally store a persistent cookie so it can recognize your browser on future visits. Your choice is saved to your browser, so you won't be asked again unless you clear your browser data.
3.2 Blocking cookies in your browser. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies through their settings. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change this. If you disable cookies, the Sites may not work properly — for example, we may not be able to recognize your device and you may need to log in every time you visit.
3.3 Opting out of PostHog directly. Because we only use PostHog for analytics, declining the cookie banner is the simplest way to stop analytics tracking. If you've already accepted and want to change your mind, clearing your browser's cookies and local storage for our Sites will bring the banner back the next time you visit. PostHog also documents its own opt-out mechanism at posthog.com/docs/privacy.

4. Changes
4.1 Information about the cookies we use may be updated from time to time, so please check back on a regular basis for any changes.
